     At the funeral of Margaret Moore (Nelson's daughter) in May 1906, he is listed in the obituary as one of the pall bearers, which makes sense as he is her cousin.

In the 1900 PA census, in Valley Township, Chester Co., John Sagner, age 48, and his wife Susana, age 49. Living with them are their children: William, Horace J., James, Margaret, Annie M., Robert H. and Clarence L. Also with them is Margaret Dunnet, listed as "mother", b. 5/1825, age 75. Unfortunately, she is listed as having been born in PA, as were her parents. However, they are the right Sagner/Signer - I find them living with other Dunnetts in other censuses. They had 9 children, 7 still living. ED 108, Sheet 10, Line 28.

Wife: Mary Ann, age 22. Born in PA as were both her parents.

Per 1918 WWI draft registration card, he was born April 9, 1882. He's living in Coatesville, Chester Co., PA. His nearest relative is "Mrs. William J. Sagnor". Medium build, medium height, dark eyes, dark hair. Working at Luken Steel Mill.

In 1920 census, living in East Brandywine, Chester Co., PA, District 26. Written in margin is "Guthriesville"
